    Jinxia Wang is the Deputy Director and Professor of Center for Chinese Agricultural Policy (CCAP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and professor of Institute of Geographical Sciences and Natural Resources Research. She is also visiting professor of Water Resources Department in the Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research (IWHR) of Ministry of Water Resources, member of Scientific Steering Committee of Global Environmental Change and Human Security in the International Human Dimensions Programme on Global Environmental Change (IHDP), board member of Resources and Environment Statistic Association and member of Water Resources Committee in the China Water Resources Association. She received her BS and MS degree in agricultural economics from Agricultural University of Inner Mongolian separately in 1993 and 1996. In 2000, she obtained her PhD degree in agricultural economics from Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. From 1996 to 1997, she also attended the Leader 21 Winrock International Ph.D Training Program on Agricultural Economics. Her research covers management, institution and policy of water resources, climate change and conservation agriculture. In 2009, she got the the Outstanding Young Scientist Award from the National Natural Science Foundation in China. Until now, she has published more than 120 papers with more than 40 papers in refereed international journals (more than 30 papers are in SCI/SSCI journals). In addition, she is co-author of 3 books.
